Meet the Board
Lucy Bedgood
Lucy Bedgood is the owner of and practicing speech pathologist at The Language Learning Center, Inc. located in St. Marys, Georgia. After practicing in various settings of the profession, Lucy felt the need to form her own company with therapeutic emphasis on new and innovative brain-based therapies to address the needs of clients of all ages who present with communicative and learning struggles. Over the past 22 years at The Language Learning Center, she has celebrated with a multitude of clients and their families who have found success through hard work and determination.

After her early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in 2010, Lucy was led to join her friend and speech therapist cohort Sharon Crews in a project to support and assist women who are beginning their journey through cancer treatment. They formed Care Pax & Co. to provide women the “tools” and knowledge of the journey in order to prepare them for what lays before them in uncharted territory. For the past 11 years they have provided backpacks (Got Your Backpax Support System) and daily organization guide book (My Chemo Cocktail & Me) to thousands of women throughout the country. With Sharon’s tragic passing in 2018 during an automobile accident, Lucy determined that her vision would carry on and to even a larger scale. She and a group of volunteers have come together to form Care Pax & Friends, Inc., a non-profit organization with its focus of forming community wide funding for women to all receive their much needed pax. Lucy serves as chairman of the board for Care Pax & Friends, Inc. and is excited to work hand-in-hand with its supply company Care Pax & Co., Inc. to accomplish a wider base distribution of support within various locations.

James "Cam" Baldwin
Greetings, my name is James C. Baldwin but most people call me Cam. I have owned and operated Baldwin Sales & Leasing DBA/ CBR Equipment Rental since 2001 and have experience in all aspects of the operations including keeping the books.
Having a family member and many friends walk this path I was honored when Lucy asked me to be on the board of Care Pax & Friends as we both share a passion to help breast cancer patients. My profession makes the role as treasurer something I am capable and proud to take on for the organization.
